TrakPal Trak Management

The Trak screen provides the facility to manage your trak, waypoints, routes and alarms. Pressing the screen moves the cross-hair cursor and shows the speed and position at the lower right of the display. The left and right double arrow on the menu bar searches the trak for the next zero speed trak point. Waypoints can be added at the cursor position by pressing the red flag.

Traks can be saved and reloaded for display on the trak main screen. Trak data is saved as a space separated text file with the following format:

Time	Date	Latitude	Longitude	speed	heading	altitude
HHMMSS.dddd	DD/MM/YY	radians	radians	metres/second	degrees	metres

From the File menu you can load a comparison trak, save your current trak or clear all data including waypoints, routes and alarms. Management of waypoints, routes and alarms is accessed through this menu. Google Earth KML files can also be imported to help with navigation and setup of routes and waypoints.
